Quiltes' cache ( Quilt Blocks Galore) no longer opens!

Has this siteclosed down ?🥺...one of my go to references.

It's a 421 misdirected request from the server. The hosting company/admin is either using shared SSL certificates or has something misconfigured.

I dug a little further, and if they're using Cloudflare or another proxy on the server, there was an Apache update pushed a couple of days ago that is causing this error. Give it a day or so for the server to be updated with the fix.

Websites show "421 Misdirected Request" error

Thanks, mkc. I'm hoping they will be back soon. I'd hate to lose Quilter's Cache. I've used it many times over the years.

I hope it 's just an " update glitch".

Tried to open it yesterday in hopes of finding a smaller Whirlwind pattern than the one from Fat Quarter Shop. Hope it's fixed soon also.

I googled Quilters Cache and got something bout she is in the middle of a divorce and has temporarily closed the site down.

It is working this morning for me.

You had me curious ... googled QC and lots of links showed up.

Chose a link to a block ... presto, direct to the block
Chose the one to the main page for the blocks ... tada!!
Typed in the basic home page link ... quilterscache.com ... and voila!

Must have just been a temporary glitch! ... Looks like it's all systems go.
At least for now! ........... whewwww! :)

if you use it a lot you know how much work and upkeep goes into the site. If she has a donation button now would be a good time to use it. Maybe someone here knows what it costs to run a site with this much into and hits.

It appears that the Wayback Machine has saved many times just a couple of examples: https://web.archive.org/web/20230307...terscache.com/
