DH was interested in an extension ladder at a garage sale so I tagged along. Ladder was sold, but I got bargain of the day with 6 bags of FQ. Each bag was 50 cents ( 3 in a bag ) 18 FQ for $3.00 !!! ( And I actually have a quilt in mind ). BTW, he buys good quality tools and gives it to our grandsons.

That is a bargain. I love how bargains seem to appear when you least expect them. I think it balances out with the repair/replace cost that always happens. Finding a good bargain off sets the oh no events.
Good idea to buy household tools for the grandsons.
