I will be there. It will be nice to spend some time with my "friends" and to catch up with what has been happening in their lives.

I;ve been waiting for it to come out. I thought I read it was to be out back in June then read recently September. I wonder how long it will take to be put on DVD as I also want to order it for my collection. It's too bad Maggie Smith won't be in this new movie as she was a character I always liked to see what she was up to next.

I love Maggie Smith. Two of my favorite lines she said in Downton Abbey was, "what's a weekend." Then there's, "don’t be a defeatist dear. It’s very middle class." For some reason I’ve never forgotten those.

I loved Downton Abby and watched the behind-the-scenes and discussions videos as well. Something that's always stuck with me is that they had a historian on staff who's job is was to ensure scenes were portrayed historically accurate, even coaching actors on how to properly carry and serve food trays. Knowing that and some of the other tidbits shared meant that when I watched for a second time I appreciated the smaller details.

I missed this whole series that so many loved. Can it be found anywhere? Sounds like a good winter watch.

I will be there with DD. She introduced me to the series and once I got past the first few show, I was hooked. There is still a FQ bundle in my closet stash. Wonder if the line will be revived?

I found Downton Abby full series, including British episodes, is on Amazon Prime. I think about 7 series. Buying Amazon Prime was worth it to watch DA when I'm sewing.
