I'm finally done with these
5 Attachment(s)
Back in January I started making some oversized lap quilts, 5 to be exact, 2 of them have already been given to the recipents. These 3 will be given out on Sunday. I also made a queen size quilt in red/white checkerboard fashion but it's an Optical Illusion pattern I found online. Then I finally got around to quilting this Trail Mix from 2018 in yellows and purples, so you can call it a finished UFO. I also tried the piping on the binding with this one and I like it. So since June, I've finished quilting and binding 3 oversize lap quilt and 2 queen size quilts. All but the red/white will be given to the recipents on Sunday.
All quilts were made using scraps and/or yardage except the Drunkards path, I had to order enough of the cream fabric to use for both quilts. Now I get to start working on my bed quilt, a french braid as I've never made this pattern before. |
Snooze, amazing work! I have made the optical illusion (last photo) in blues. The name of the pattern is Rolling Waves, and it truly did look like moving water. I still have to quilt that one. Reminder to self, look for a panto that resembles water currents. I love your circles! Something I haven't attempted to any large degree. What is the name of the pattern for the second photo? It looks lovely and modern!

Outstanding work on all of those challenging quilt designs. I'm interested in the pattern names too. And I'm looking forward to seeing your French braid quilt.

Wow! Each one is great! I'm very impressed.

They're all amazing quilts.
|
Those are great! Did that last one give you headaches? I'm sure I would have had them working on that design
|
Wowser! You have some real beautiful finishes there.

Those are all amazing quilts, Snooze! They are all well beyond my reach! Lovely work...
|
They are all impressive - but that last one - how did you keep track of where you were?
|
These are all fantastic! I especially like the drunkard's path ones.
