Jasmine Heirloom Victorian Oak Quilt Frame

Hi all! I’m new here and I live in South Carolina. I have the opportunity to purchase a Jasmine Heirloom Victorian Oak Quilt frame. Never used and box has never been opened. Does anyone know what they originally sold for?

Don't know original price. When I find my vintage beauties, I usually go on "what is it worth to me" and see if we can arrange something close to that. Seeing a couple of options across the country for under $75 for a pristine condition frame, which is probably cheaper than a couple of 2x4s and some hardware these days.

I know that there isn't a huge market for wood frames any more -- of course if that is type of quilting you do and you have the space -- go for it! Otherwise last 20 or so years have been about ways to figure out how to machine quilt.

I have my Grandma’s wooden frame and haven’t used it in the 35 years I’ve been storing it. I can’t bring myself to get rid of it and I know my kids won’t want it so it just sits quietly unused in the upstairs room. As for what the original price was for the frame you are looking at buying, I have no idea. Sorry.

I seem to recall $250 - $300 range, but I could be wrong.
