Laser lights
Thinking about buying a laser light for my machine to help with straight line quilting. Anyone use one and do you like it or is it just so-so in your opinion? If you have one, which brand did you purchase?

I've been looking at them also so will keep my eyes open on the comments here. I have a USB on my VIking but not on my little Brother machine, darn it all.

I had one for my regular sewing machine. I used it a few times. I took it off for some reason and never put it back on. I have no idea where it is so I guess I wasn't impressed with it. My friend uses a laser when she pieces. It is a feature on her machine not attached to it.
I remember something. Mine was attached and if my machine had any vibration at all the laser beam would jump around. I had to sew very slow. |

I bought the one that Bonnie Hunter recommends. I love it and use it any time I sew a diagonal seam.

avgquiltr, can you give us the website where you ordered your laser light?

Sewing Alignment Laser | Help With Seams & Quilting
This is the link that is on Bonnie Hunter's website. I looked at it briefly, but at $99 USD it's a bit pricey for me. |
Bonnie Hunter has failing eyesight so the laser is a good thing. If a product improves your sewing and gives you good results, it is well worth the cost.

I have gotten 1 if these in the last 12-18 months but did not pay that much. Maybe I hit a 1/2 off sale somewhere. Have not used it but have not been sewing much this past year.

I have a laser light on my machine and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend it. Makes for very accurate seams.
