I haven’t been here since 2013!
 

Dang. So much happens in 12 years. I’m back into quilting after a pretty long hiatus when I was doing all the things. Calligraphy, watercoloring, gardening, acrylics, beading, bookmaking, crepe paper flowers, paper arts, needlepoint, and at least a half-dozen other crafts. Always looking for nearby crafty friends and not finding many in the Lansing, MI area, but my online friends get me. Also, I’m addicted to youtube videos where I learn anything and everything.

I am glad you are circling back around to quilting. You are going to have a blast shaking up the quilting world by adding new ways to quilt by applying all the other crafts you have been doing since you last quilted.

Welcome Back! I went offline as far as quilting for a number of years when I met my husband who was then from Grand Rapids.

When I came back, my old board(s) were gone or drastically changed and I found Quilting Board and settled in. Happy to have you find us as well.

Happy to have you join us again. I think I've tried all the crafts you listed at some point in my life, but quilting has my heart.

Thanks, all and hey, fellow Michiganders! I’m starting a new quilt tomorrow with one of the Tilda patterns, I’ve completed 11 quilts since I restarted in August. I’m keeping my long-armer busy! I haven’t figured out how to add pics yet or I’d post some.
