Quilted CS Tote Bag
1 Attachment(s)
I have experimented with incorporating finished CS project into the front of a tote bag. I used older projects to start. Wish I had a picture of Disney's Pluto, but already gave it away. I had used Heat and Bond vinyl. I thought it was too shiny, so I used Mod Podge spray on the Seashell Tote. I like this one better. I have the CS projects to match most of my pixel quilts, but I am too chicken to use them!

don't be chicken. that's a great idea and well executed!

That is a great idea! I have several small projects, mostly from classes, that I don't know what to do with. And I need a new bag! Yours is beautiful.

Gorgeous CS and bag!
|
What is CS please?
|
CS is short for Cross Stitch.

Nice work! I have some older cs that would work into a bag perfectly. Good idea

I love the bag - it is beautifully done! I am always in awe of others hand work. While I dabble at knitting, patience (and eyesight lol) evade me for cross stitch and embroidery! I wonder how durable the spry will be. Have you used it before?
btw ... the fabric you chose was perfect! |
Thanks for posting! I've been holding on to a couple pieces of counted cross stitch that were donated to church quilt ministry waiting for a project idea to present itself, and voila! You wouldn't believe some of the donations. On second thought: we're quilters many of whom save every thing!
