New Name For The Seam Ripper?

I've long hated the name of the "seam ripper" tool. It just sounds so violent and it really should not be used to "rip" seams open. I've been trying to come up with new and friendlier name for it. I thought of "stitch picker," but that name congers up images of a little kid nose mining. :) Anyone have any good ideas?

My grandson called it a thread breaker.

How about "reassessor" ? You are in charge and don't want it (stiching) where it is for any reason you want. You've got the power!

My younger grandson called it the undoner. I'll try to remember what the rest of them called it. They had very logical names for notions before knowing the actual name of them.

A friend that I sew with calls it, "Jack." As in Jack the Ripper.

I've heard it called a frogger. (rip-it, rip-it)

I could be an un-sewer or anti-sewer.
