Greetings from Washington State

Hi, I'm excited to make new connections and continue learning more about quilting on this forum. I taught myself to sew and quilt about 30 years ago but took a hiatus over the last 7 years. My current project is a wedding quilt for our son who is getting married in August and dusting off some old U.F.O's to finish. It feels great to be quilting again and I look forward to joining in on this Quilt forum.

Thanks,
Elaine

Welcome to the forums, I'm glad you found us. A couple of years ago I had a major change in moving to the center of the midwest, after some 30+ years in the Seattle area.

The nice things about message boards is they can be home no matter where we are at :)

Greetings! My husband is from Washington state. A wedding quilt is quite an undertaking after a long hiatus it sometimes that’s the motivation we need! Can’t wait to see pictures!

Hi Kalama Quilts. Thanks for the welcome. Maybe not close neighbors, I live about 30 miles East of Seattle.

Hi Quossum. Thanks for the welcome. Yes. A wedding quilt is indeed an undertaking but it feels good to be quilting again. Now I just need to stay on this project without getting distracted to begin something else as well. :) I will share photos when it is completed.
