Quilts for Josie, Ella, and Rylee
5 Attachment(s)
We always struggle when giving a baby quilt when the older sibling(s) didn’t get one. We usually break down and make one for all of them. In this case we didn’t know the parents when Josie was born, and when Ella was born we were sorting and moving and just couldn’t make a quilt. Today all the little girls got coordinating quilts. Same fabrics, but arranged and bordered differently. The parents told us the older girls are always fighting over “covers,” so they say these will get lots of use. They baby’s will probably stay in the car to cover her getting in and out of the van.

Lovely quilts, and such a nice idea to make ones for the older children as well.

So thoughtful of y’all to think of all the girls. The quilt and quilting are great and the fabrics are so pretty.

Wonderful quilts! I LOVE the cherries!
When I was little my favorite dress was my "cherry dress" and my Mom told me I wanted to wear it all the time ! LOL |
What a great idea to use the same fabrics for all three. The quilts connect them as sisters but keep each individual identity. They are all lovely and cheerful.

These are lovely!

Just gorgeous. Perfect looking quilts for girls. So thoughtful to think of all of them.

I think I bought that cherry fabric because it reminded me of the cherry and other fruit refrigerator magnets that Mom and my grandmothers had when I was a kid.
