Hi my name is Nancy,

I have been quilting for 20+ years not an expert by any means. Never took a formal class learned through TV quilt shows and reading every library book on quilting I could find.

We moved to Kentucky from the Chicago area in December 2007 and with the sale of the house I was able to get a longarm machine which sadly I have not had much of an opportunity to use due to work.

A friend sent me a link to this site today and I am hoping this is the year I can get back to actively making quilts and getting in some swaps. I stopped swapping about 2 years ago prior to our move and seems like the quilting slowed down as well almost to a stop so I need to get back into swaps as it also helped motivate me to get to doing some of my own projects.

Even though I have been quilting for years I have no quilts to call my own as all the ones I have made have gone to family and as gifts but one of my goals this year is to actually use the longarm and make some quilts for us.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you ladies.

Hi, welcome from NW Pa. I have a longarm too, a Prodigy, love it, but have not had time to do much with it either, maybe this year will be the year for both of us . this is a great site, lots of inspiration here.
