Ok, I feel like a total moron right now. Way to keep track of my own stuff *sigh*
So I made this quilt last spring, (here's the stupid part) I posted it on Facebook and now someone else wants me to make them one just like it. Some of my quilts I just look at a picture and figure it out on my own with not instructions or fabric req. or anything but I KNOW that I had a pattern and instructions for this one. I cannot for the life of my remember where I found the instructons for this one!! It was a website somewhere, that much I remember, but it's not bookmarked anymore, and I can't seem to find it in my history.... Please please please someone tell me that they know what this quilt pattern is!!! |
I know what it is.......it is very pretty!!!! ;)
I hope someone on here knows the name. Patti |

I don't know "THE" pattern but I see 3-4 block designs. I took a look-see in my "1000 Great Quilt Blocks" book, and found these:
Working from the center out, I see a variation of an Economy block. The outer blocks look like a combination of a single "H" section (of the Four H block) centered in a Chimneys and Cornerstones. The corners look like a section of the Economy. ???????????????? Just 'cuz it's in print, don't make it so. |
Its gorgeous, but blank on the name kiddo. sorry :-(

I am definitely not an expert, but it looks like just 4 basic blocks of the same design joined together with a pink border. The block looks like a type of modified log cabin, courthouse steps or something like that, but corners are pieced of a square and 2 triangles, then placed face down on the corner (on 2 blocks upper left and lower right and on 2 upper right and lower left) and flipped back. When the bigger blocks are joined it gives the illusion of a separately piced center one. I guess this is all as clear as mud, but I don't know how else to explain it.
