haven't even made my first block, frankly because I'm not sure what I want to do.
Have a lot of samples, and want to put them into other clothes. Not into actual quilting, just the patchworking. I love the way it looks on clothes and such. Any suggestions? The samples range from 2" squares to 2"X5" strips. |
Welcome to the board from Ventura County, Southern California.
You can do all kinds of things with patches and strips that size. Have you made a sweat-shirt jacket? I have one I made (well it isn't totally finished) using a bunch of different fabrics. They would be great for making a tote or purse. A Patchwork top would look nice too. Are they all cotton samples? Whether they are all cotton or a blend of cotton and polyester, you would want to use all the same fabric on your garment. |

Welcome from Hesperia, where in CA are you? You don't need to hide. ha ;)
Patchwork clothing is fun, I have tons of patchwork purses and vests. Even a skirt made out of just 5" blocks. |
