Would anyone know if a HP Desk Jet 970 CSE can be used to print color pictures on fabric?

Thank you,
Ana Maria

That is what my older printer is, and I have printed out fabric and iron ons with it :D:D:D I treated them afterwards to help set the ink.

Oh, Thank you so much. I am new at his. What did you use to set the ink?

I bought special fabric sheets that were just for photos on fabrics. It worked great.

I used Printed Treasures in the Green pack for sewing. It worked great!

I've done several picture quilts and as long as it is a ink-jet printer it will work, but you do need to use prepared for dying fabric to get the best results, they should also be heat set and use a setting agent. You can prepare the fabric yourself, or but it pdf.

Sorry, I had to go get the setting agent bottle to remember the name(half-himers). Its called Bubble jet rinse.

That is exactly what I was going to recommend. It works great. We use Bubble Jet to print out label and sew them onto the quilts.

Yeah, its great stuff. Lets you be very creative. I made 3 grad. quilts that I made for 2 nieces and a nephew, and they just love them. The backs were signature quilts. They turned out great.

Be sure to use 100% cotton. I have found they "peel" if you use a blend.
