Ok, so the 15 and the 17-year-olds want me to drive them to a (Christian) youth group meeting tonight. And when I come out of the house, they're arguing and both trying to fit into the front passenger seat at the same time.
So I did what any mom of preschoolers would do, and said "Ok, both of you in the back seat!" ... and after a short lesson on "no shouting in the car" and "remember to say please" we drove off. !?!? When? Can somebody tell me when kids start to act their age? I mean, other than the sullen, mumbling part. They have that down pat! |
hhhmmm mine are 29 and 26 ( both boys) and still waiting  They still fight over who is "shotgun"
Sorry I couldn't give you any better news  |

They don't!!! I am 50 years old and I refuse to act mature!

Somewhere around 19. I see big improvements around that age. They seem to get all that immature stuff out of their system by then. Hang in there, you'll make it. ;-)

ROFLMBO LOL You mean I'm Not alone!

No, you're definitely NOT alone. Thanks for the COMPANY!!!

My daughter was a total snot from 13-16, and then she just overnight seemed to grow out of it. She had a plan! Now she is 24 and just bought her first house. I sometimes miss the snottiness.

mine are 20, 18, 13, 8, and 5....
I honestly think the 5 yr old is the most mature at times... but im a terrible role model for maturity lol |

That's a really good question. When you get it all figured out can you shoot a memo to my teens? You could BCC my hubby too. I'd like to get everyone on board. Thank you.
