I have to have a fan running when I sleep or I can't stay asleep no matter how tired I am. I have two going lately. A big box fan at the foot of the bed and a small fan on my night table. It isn't only the whitenoise but the air movement is soothing. I may cover up some but I still have to feel that air on my face.

Anybody else do this or am I the only crazy one??

Yes, we have a fan in the bedroom and also have the ceiling fan on.

during the day I turn the air conditioning on, also keep the blinds closed in the house and our house stays cooler

was 92 in Indiana, USA yesterday!

Well, if it ever gets warmer enough here (which it hasn't yet this summer) I do run a fan at night. I also like the cool air on my face. But I hesitate to leave a ceiling fan on all night ever since a friend told me about almost get beheaded by the blades of a ceiling fan when it came undone. So if I do leave it on I leave it on low.

I have a large fan aimed at me too. Ever since I reached a "certain age" I need it and the white noise someone else mentioned is helpful too.
One of my DDs has a fan in all the kids rooms and their master bedroom. I don't know how they hear anything during the night!

Everynight, winter and summer. Just have to feel some air movement on my face, but have a light cover on also. My husband thinks I am crazy, that is why it is nice to have separate rooms!!

we have our ceiling fan running every night winter and summer. Can't sleep without it now.

You are not crazy. I run a fan to provide a steady noise.

I need it, especially now. I got new windows so I have to re-learn the noises of the house. (weird as that sounds)

Our ceiling fans run constantly, summer and winter. I can't breathe without them. Have to have aire moving all the time.

Yup, big box fan, pointed away from me though. Just for the noise, all year round. In the summer, I sleep really well because of the fan and the noise of the air conditioner. I'm a very light sleeper so any noise I can't block out wakes me up!
