Hey all! My name is Laura and while I'm not new to message boards, I am new to quilting. I've just started my first project, a crib-sized six-block sampler, via lessons through a local quilt shop.

I'm 41 and an online friend in Arizona recently reignited my interest in quilting. I used to do a lot of crafts as a teenager, but carpal tunnel syndrome stopped me for a number of years. Now that the CTS seems to be better, I figured, "why not?"

I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all, and learning from you! :)
