I haven't been on for awhile due to the death of my husband and one son in April. I am now at my other son's and have forgotten to bring the stencil so that I can finish his quilt. Of course I can't go back home since the house is in Edmond, OK and I am now in King George, VA. I have not been able to find the meduim size----have the large and small with me but forgot the other. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for all your help.
Ruth

Soooo sorry to hear about your DH and son. Very hard time. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

If you look at the large and small are you able to visualize what the med would look like to do it freehand? If you already have done it in others areas what about tracing it onto thick paper or template plastic and then cut it out and make up your own?

Very sorry to hear of your loss!

I have never stippled before so I am no help. I'm sure someone will come up with an idea to suit you. Sewcrafty's idea sounds great to me! She has been tons of help to me.

I hope things get better for you soon.

You can go on line and to to www.quiltingmadeeasy.com and see if they have the pattern there.

Can you enlarge the smaller one on a copy machine to get a med size template?
Stitch without thread on the lines of the copy, with a large needle and then lay it on the quilt, and use a pounce pad to mark with?

Had you done any stippling on the quilt with the medium stencil before you came to VA?

Ruthie- my sincerely condolences on your great loss.
Maybe over lay the small on the larger template and "create" another medium template by drawing between the two.

I am so sorry for your loss! a husband and a son....too much to bear for most folks. So I'm thinking at this point, you probably have a better answer than most of us! Your fine stencil point will work fine for any circumstance! Again, I'm so sorry for your loss, and will keep you in my prayers.
Kind Regards,
MaryAnna
