While we were in Downingtown/Philadelphia, PA area this week I found this pattern for a great beach tote using "pet screen" or nylon mesh window screen. I immediately thought what a nice thank you it would be for our DD's friend who picked her up at the airport on her visit home from New Zealand. Her friend has 2 little boys ages 6 and 2-1/2 years old and they do to the beach in Delaware quite frequently.
So, here is my first nylon mesh tote. DD picked out the material for the bag and at her suggestion, we are going to put a little Flip Flop keychain on the handle and put a pair of glitzy flip flops and some other beachie things in it. We will give it to her when DD returns to NZ as she will leave from Philadelphia as well. Thanks for looking. |
It's really cute! I love the corners.
