I have just joined The Quilter's Message Board and am enjoying the wonderful circle of quilting friends. I am a transplant from Wisconsin and have been in Orlando for 25 years. I still miss the seasons - but am learning to bloom wherever I am. I have an appliqued quilt on my table that I am trying to finish. I have down outline hand quilting around the applique squares but would like to do machine free motion quilting in the dark 9 patch squares. I am a novice at machine quilting so I am studying books and working on sample sandwich pieces to practice. Needing encouragement to finish my quilt this month.
