Hello, I'm new here and am from NC...the Pinehurst area. I do machine embroidery and am now very interested in doing quilt in the hoop projects. I am very involved with Project Linus and help make blankets for them. Most of what I do I give away, (which also helps me rationalize why it is okay to buy more stuff). I am a retired psychiatric nurse and this is my therapy. I am looking forward to sharing with you and learning from all of you new friends.

Welcome! I too do machine embroidery, and incorporate it in my quilting. I also give my projects away, to family and other loved ones. The picture with my name is one I did for my neighbor on his first birthday. I am currently making fleece blankets, and also knitted ones to donate to CHOP (Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia). I find it easier to finish them if I don't make them fancy, also they have to be easily washable.
