Hi my name is Jane. I love to quilt. I have been quilting since 1995. I am married, I have 2 beautiful daughter who are married. I have 6 wonderful grandchildren. I love to make quilts for them. One of my biggest challenges has been to make counted cross stitch blocks and build a quilt around it. It turned out great , but it took me a long time. . I will look forward to visiting with you and sharing new ideas.

Hi Jane, I am new here too. Good for you for finding new ways to use other crafting methods in quilting. I cross stitch on my embroidery machine, then frame them for Christmas gifts. I use my embroidery machine designs for focal points in my quilts. The picture with my name is one I did for my neighbor baby. It is all flannel with farm animals, and a dog and cat that are like his family dog and cat.
