Found this site quite by accident and have been enjoying all the posts and pictures. My favorite part of quilting is the piecing portion, which means I have many quilt tops waiting to be sandwiched and quilted, but I'm sure I'm not alone.

Hi Barbara from TX I am also from TX I live outside of San Antonio, I too have a lot of unfinished quilt tops. All of my beds are queen or king size, I've always quilted by hand but it takes me too long, trying to learn to machine quilt. You will love this board I am here every morning with coffee.

I'm in Austin (just got an e-mail from someone in Houston).
I'm not a perfectionist, so none of my quilts will ever make it into a show, but I do enjoy myself. I have a sewing/craft room all to myself, and it's a total mess right now.

Has there ever been a get together from all the posters in Texas?

Not that I know of. I was thinking of trying to organize one for the Dallas Fort Worth area this fall. Something like: Pick a centrally located LQS and a time. What we do need or those Gorilla pins so we can recognize each other. Admin?
