I'm from Texas.
I am learning to quilt and having a wonderful time. I started with a box of nine patch squares my Grannie had made. They had been in a closet at my Mom's. When she passed away I found them. They stayed in my closet for about 7 years. I forgot about them. My friend, Callie, was always asking me to go to her quilting class with her. I told her 'I didn't see fun in cutting up fabric and then sewing it back together'! But, when I found the box with the squares again, I went to class and boy am I glad I did. I am hooked!!
I spent some time here yesterday and know I can learn a lot from all of you. I am looking forward to being a part of this quilting board.
