Wanted to say thanks to whomever asked about using the walking foot for regular sewing ... also to those who answered. I guess I just had never thought I 'should' use it for all my sewing, but boy have I enjoyed using it for most everything, and particularly not having to change the foot so often. This is a great forum and I truly enjoy the questions/comments/answers. Thanks to all

Not changing the foot is how I got to using the walking foor for regular stitching - especially during the binding stage. However, when piecing I still revert back to 1/4" foot & open toe clear plastic foot for applique.
