Hi

My name is Gem and i am hoping to get started in quilting as i would like to make my daughter a throw for her bed in time for christmas this year.

I can use a sewing machine and i can hand sew,but i have never done quilting before so would appreciate any tips or advice on what i will need and how to get started.

No i dont have a preference, but i have 3 young children and i am quite busy so whatever would be the quickest really :)

I have just bought a couple of books about quilting to get me started also.
