Woo Hooo! The top is done! I wrastled that thing down and won. Here it is with Ben. He is so excited! But I told him I won't be quilting it until after I get Grandmommy's quilted. I am going to have to make or buy a different color bed skirt, though. His is too dark of a blue.
And here it is on the bed with the matching pillowcase. It is made out of the red star in the circle fabric. Big Ben with a mast coming out of his head. The whole top. It just looks lopsided because of the angle I shot the photo. A detail. Did I mention I no longer like triangles? Ben is a darling little man, and your quilt is darling, also. Maybe it will inspire him to become a cruise ship captain someday, and you can get free vacations. Isn't THAT a high expectation from a quilt, though?

I love the quilt! I can see Ben is very happy with it too!! Why not put some red and white trim on that bedskirt and use it! Great job!! :D

Ben is adorable and your quilt turned out fabulous! I agree with Ditter....a little red/white edging on the bottom of bed skirt would just set it off!
