a while back i bought a box of sewing machine feet for $3 at a thrift store. but, some of them, i can't identify at all!

this is the first one. it has measurements/increments on it in two places, from 0-8. those measure out from the left side. also, the larger measured piece has a part that moves up and down with the needle.

i don't have a clue what it is! have any of you seen anything like this before?

thanks in advance for your help!

I'm not positive, but I think I saw something similar on a sewing show that was used to make tucks. Have you tried sewing with it?

not yet, cuz i have no clue how to use it! :)

Looks a bit like a pleating foot to me.. but that's really a guess.

Go to the "Virtual" section on here and check out "Vintage Sewing machine Shop"--I'm sure you will get the answers you need.

You should ask Charlee or Lostn51. They both know a lot about attachments. Lostn51 has the Vintage Singer Topic Site.

Charlee is also on there with tons of info!

looks like something along the line of a ruffler or tuck foot to me also.

Its a tucker

It kinda looks like a buttonhole maker.

I think this is a Singer foot, and its a ruffler (I have one too that I got with my featherweight)
