We have dinner at church once a month, and I am so tired of trying to find something that I KNOW will be good. Do any of you have a favorite recipe that I could try? Especially meat recipes. I am sharing one of the favorites that I take regularly...it is good and it couldn't be any easier... Thanks!

Easy Corn Casserole....
1 stick margarine (melted)
1 c sour cream
1 can drained whole kernel corn
1 can creamed corn
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix (8 oz)

Mix all together in big bowl. Spread in a 13 x 9 inch casserole dish. Bake 350 for 45 - 60 minutes or until brown.... Good! I never bring any of this home. Anything you would share???

Hey thanks! This sounds GOOD and it also sounds easy! Plus, there is nothing better to me than peanut butter...and chocolate...and cream cheese. Love all three!

If you make it, be sure to cut it in 16 slices because it is soooooooo rich. I top it off with mini reece cups to look pretty.

Cabbage and Noodles

1 head cabbage
1 package wide noodles ( any kind)
1 package of smoked or polish kielbasa (more if crowd is big)

Take 1 large head of cabbage and slice thin. Put in pot with about 1 cup of water and cover. Simmer until tender. (add more water if needed) Add 1 packaged cooked wide noodles.
Add 1/2 stick butter, more if necessary, salt and caraway seed (optional). Slice 1 package of smoke kielbasi and add to cabbage and noodles. Cook all on low to medium heat so flavors can blend.

This is a great recipe, goes a long way, and you only need 2 pots. One for noodles, and one for the rest. Cooks up fast and easy.

Hey, thank y'all! I always like to try new recipes, but it is ALWAYS better if they have already been "proven". I will try to make them for the family and then try some of them at the next dinner.

Hope we still get more.... I LOVE NEW RECIPES!
