I understand it to be the canned biscuits like pilsbury ,which would make sense. They will rise like a pizza dough would. I actually have that in the house along with the Grands canned biscuits. Guess if I decide to use the grands I would have to cut them up a little more, but it would make a fluffier raised dough.

I didn't mean raised dough , I am tired brain farts, I mean a raised crust like a deep dish crust.

YUM! Really looks good!

I have made this & it was a big hit. I used the cheapest refrigerated biscuits I could find & picked out whatever toppings my family likes best. It is really good!

LOOKS GOOD!!! Did you notice the reason it looks so good...1076.4 calories per serving. Any thing with that many calories would have to be good, think I will try it!

SundarKoyal 09-18-2010 12:44 PM

Actually, i think the calories per 1 serving are only : Calories 484.4

Which is a heck of a lot better than 1076... this way we can eat more of it!

I have made it with Grands and it doesn't turn out as good as the cheapie biscuits do. Like the 4 for a dollar cans...the four pack kinds.

I actually caught a sale on a small brick of mozz. cheese. So I made this the other night and used the grands. I tore them up smaller and split into to small pans. The small brownie pans. It was good. Even my dogs like it. They got to have anything that goes in my mouth you know.
