Okay I am stumped. I have this quilt sandwiched and ready to hand quilt but I don't know what design to use in the blocks. I think I am going to do a little vine with leaves in the sashing and a rope on the red border but what about the rest?

Open for suggestions. Thanks,

Beautiful quilt....by the way welcome to the board. Just a thought...Maybe something curvy or circles.

First, great job! Love your block designs and layout!!

How about quilting each block as its design suggests.....echo'ing some patches, stippling others, etc.? With a "sampler" quilt like this I don't think the quilting in each block necessarily has to be the same. Then tie it all together with what you're thinking for sashing and borders. Just my thoughts, but be sure to post the finished product! Thanks for sharing!

know it would be alot of work but I'd stitch in the ditch. individual blocks would pop

For any quilt I've handquilted that is a 'sampler' I have just quilted the pattern of the block... looks good! Nice quilt

I think a simple SITD would really accent each block. Depending on how detailed you want to get, you can always echo the pattern into each piece.
