I am still plugging away at my sons quilt while doing other projects right now. What do you guys think? I am not sure if I like it 100% yet. I haven't finished piecing the top by a long mile. I just finished most of the way the side panels. need to attach the corner triangles still. not sure if i am in love with the center fabric of the side panels. what do you guys think?

This is great!

it isn't really a pattern persay. I took two blocks that I liked and made my own. the corner blocks are seaside star and the center is sea of crisis both are from jinney beyer. if you go to her website she has tons of free patterns you can download. the panels are just something that I came up with.

I like it alot. But you might want to try another color not so dark in the center border to see what you think.

The think the center fabric of the sides is perfect. In fact, I think the whole quilt is beautiful!
