Hi all,
Do any of you know of any Quilt retreats here in California ?? |
have you tried to google: California quilting retreats
|
Yes, there were a couple listed, thought someone here would have a good recomendation.
Funny part is your mention made me wonder if there were some not highly published. :) |
also why don't you plan a sew day with members of the quilting board members in your area
this is our 2nd Meet and Greet in Indiana coming up October 19, 2010 and also we are planning some sew days in the future we are thinking of getting some ladies from the quilting board in the area and sew sew sew, go to a hotel and can sew from our rooms and maybe rent like a room to sew (also looking into some bed and breakfast for a sewing getaway) |
Good Idea !!

Yes, there is a great retreat in Northern California in Fortuna each May. See the link below. I have been going to this for at least 6 years, and I love it. I don't think you will be disappointed. Check it out.

There's a neat one at the Hunnewill guest ranch in Bridgeport CA on Halloween weekend that Cindy goes to each year. It's reasonably priced and a lot of fun.
They may still have openings for this year. Cindy's blog post from last year: http://www.quilt-kits-online.com/notebook/?p=878 Contact info for the Hunnewill ranch: http://www.hunewillranch.com/ They will know who to contact to see if there are openings. |
