I haven't tried it but I'd love to hear about it if anyone does.

Thanks for posting - She makes it look soooo easy - We should all try it on scraps and post our thoughts.

I do notice that she's using a Pfaff that has the IDT (walking foot). I'd love to try it . . . as soon as I find my "round tuit"!

It is as easy as she makes it look. I bought her drunkards path templates and have made two quilt tops. I have a Bernina without the IDT, but I have also made then on my little inexpensive Brother.

This is how I sew curves now too. It is that easy, I made 4" blocks and it was awesome.
I don't have IDT either, just used my 1/4" foot.
Be careful you don't pull on the fabric or it will pucker. A light touch is all that is needed :D:D:D

Before I was aware of this easy technique, I splurged and bought the special foot to use on curved seams. Sorry I bought it, but what are you going to do. LOL

This is how I piece my curves. It is so easy!

This is the way the curved seam presser foot works as well. I have used both methods, and they work. The curved seam presser foot is a bit easier to manipulate.
