Have you made a "Professional Tote" bag? The instructions are quite lengthy. I was wondering how long it took to make.

Yes, I made one ... it took a few hours each day for about 3 days--so maybe 8 or 9 hours all together. The instructions take you through it step by step, very easy to follow.

I've made one also and agree with the 9 hour estimate...it's an amazing bag, however.

it's a tote bag that is designed to hold a standard size file folder in the inner zipper pocket and has lots of othe pockets as well. besides the zipper pocket, there are two large inner pockets suitable for a laptop, at least four small pockets inside and three to five pockets outside including two end pockets which can hold a water bottle, etc. Great bag to use for business or even as a diaper bag. Pattern available at a lot of LQSs..or you can google it.

I actually timed one. 3 hours to cut pieces and fuse with interfacing. 7 hours to construct. I've made 2 and the second one wasn't any quicker. Be sure to use the labels that are supplied to mark all the pieces, after awhile they are begin to look alike

I complete mine back in early Sept. 2010. Took me also a couple hours a night for about 3-4 nights. The longest was pressing the Deco Bond to the fabric. Once that was done, it was no time to sew.
The directions are so precise.

I made one, too...and I agree 9-10 hours. The directions ARE precise...follow them step by step...if you have to check off each step, do it.

My sister-in-law made 4 of these for herself and daughters. She made them out of Batiks and they looked awesome. She did also say that they took quite awhile to make and that you had to really follow all the directions.

I really like that one. I know several folks could use it. Wow, 9 hours minimum to make? Sure looks like it would be worth it. Anyone selling them? How much are you charging?

Any one remember the price for the pattern and anywhere inparticular to get it? Otherwise, I will just Google the name.

Didn't mean to hijack. Sorry. Thanks.
