I posted some pictures in the summer of some of the blocks for this quilt...so some may remember seeing pics of it.
Then in August when I put it in my new quilt frame I took more pictures of it... The pattern is a free one on Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville site and she calls the pattern "Jared Takes a Wife". Two months and one day from the day of starting the handquilting on it, I finished it! That's the fastest I've ever done a quilt top! It is 89 X 105" and is for my niece who is a teacher and a missionary in Uruguay. She is married and has 2 children. They will be returning to the States next month for a 2 month furlough and I'm planning on giving it to her then. This is so lovely! The hand quilting is beautiful - I can barely stand the pain in my hands to bind, let alone even think about quilting a whole quilt ...
