HI LADIES!! I am not posting a picture here(yet). But I am asking some of you to please post one. If your avatar pic is a quilt - please post a bigger pic along with the name and designer of the block. A link to directions you used might be nice as well. I am asking because due to the small size of the avatar pics it is sometimes difficult to pick out all the detail and identify the pattern. Thanks in advance for participating - can't wait to see your pics!!

Mine is Lover's Knot by Eleanor Burns. I made it for my sister when she was having surgery for cancer.

This is my avatar pic of the quilt i made. I designed this myself so i can't give you a name other than a "basket" quilt. It is queen size and made from scraps.

Here is a link to mine. It was made for my husband's niece as a gift when she graduated from nursing school.

Here's mine. It was sewn by my Mom in law for my daughters high school grad in 2001. The kitty picture was designed by her cousin. The inspector in the avatar pic belongs to my daughter, her name is Sofi.

Here is my avatar quilt. The pattern is called "Slideshow."

I made this frog quilt for my sister's new baby grandson. When we were little my sister was the one who ran and screamed "like a girl" when I would find a frog to chase her around with. So I told her that since she had a grandson, that little boy needed to have a frog quilt. We all laughed about it, but I think my sister really liked the idea!

The fabrics I used in the windows were purchased in Alaska during a cruise my DH and I took. The backing was fabric that an Alaskan artist had designed. I don't have a pic of that and my camera is not working right now. The pattern and acrylic template I used were from Cheryl Phillips. It is a folded attic window without Y seams. The large window at the top was made the traditional way with a Y seam. {which wasn't very hard to do at all--and uses less fabric} It is hand quilted. I need to add some quilting in the larger areas, but just haven't got around to it yet.
