This is the top of the quilt I made today while DH was at work. I seem to get more done when he is not at home. Not sure why, maybe a lack of 'honey do' questions and requests? Anyway this is for my first great niece, who will be making her appearance, some where near my birthday in February.

It is a deep burgundy, hot pink, and a burgundy and hot pink floral, I found at Joann's bargain bin. The pattern is Eleanor Burns with an extra border to make it bigger. My niece lives along the North Pacific, (Long Beach, WA) and I wanted to be sure it was big, and I am going to use two batts to make it extra warm. It measures 50" x 50". So far I have spent about $3.00 on it. :thumbup:
