I am making another pheasant quilt. I have a large panel for the middle and 4 small panels. I am trying to find something for the inbetween areas. Does this partial bargello -which would be on both sides of the large panel- take away from the beauty of the panel? Thanks for your honest opinion. Elaine

I like the points going down best. Beautiful colors.

points down sort of makes it look like the feathers.

Thank you , I liked the points down too, but do you think it is too much color and takes away from the panel itself?

Beautiful and points going down.

I think the colors you used in the bargello panel go wonderfully with the pheasant print.

I think the bargello detracts from the pheasant panels because it seems really big and busy in comparison. The pheasant panel is overwhelmed.

The bargello would be an awesome backing for the pheasants, though.

I like the poits going up it highlights the sky jusst right. Yes it will be great. It is not too much for the panel. Our eyes will rest on the lovely panel after enjoying the bargello. Please continue this project, you have such an eye for color. I'm looking forward to the next step. Let us all see the project aas it moves along.

Nicely done bargello - but I personally would not use it with the pheasant panel - too much competition for my like. Just my opinion

I noticed the bargello first. Maybe try a pattern that won't compete as much with the panel. I like the idea of using it for the backing.
