I have been evesdropping for some time and really love this site so thought I should introduce myself.
I have been sewing most of my life. First doll clothes then clothes for my daughter then on to crafts and now interested in quilting. I recycle blue jeans into purses and made one small lap quilt with 2 inch blue jean squares.
Now I am in the process of making 9 small memory throws from my mothers polyester pants. I have 5 finished, 2 tops done and blocks done for the other 2. (I am sick of stretchy polyester!!) I hope her grandchildren will appreciate having these memories.

Welcome from Kentucky. I have my finger in so many pies that I don't know what to do next. Made Umbrella girl quilts for my two older great granddaughters last Christmas. Decided this year I would make Embroidered Tree Skirts for my 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Also plan to make a recipe book for them with some embroidery on the front of the album. I love learning all kinds of crafts and quilting. Welcome again from your adjoining state.
