This is my first Irish Chain quilt and I really love the pattern. I was thinking of appliqueing flowers in the center white blocks. What do you think?? Is it too much white??

This is beautiful. I am gathering material to make, I hope, a double irish chain (it will be my first). Not too much white for me. This is lovely.

I like white, very clean and neat. Yeah I know it doesn't stay that way long. I think flowers would dress it up, but very pretty like it is

I love it just as it is, beautiful!

Beautiful quilt, I like the flower idea.

I think flowers would really make it pop.

Very pretty! I like it as it is, but I'm a plain and simple kind of girl ;)

No, it's not too much white - it allows the viewer to appreciate the chain pattern, but if you did applique flowers in the white areas, it would also enhance it - choose flowers of the same colors.

The white (to me) is what makes the quilt pop. I would leave it as is.
