Hi,
I'm BJ. (bjchad) and although I only started quilting recently I am heavily addicted. I have been doing fabric and thread crafts all my life including knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery of all types and beading. I did a little piecing before but not a lot.

I am a high school math teacher with three cats, one of whom sits on the top of my sewing machine while I work. ( We have to negotiate terms when I need to rethread the machine.). I like piecing and am learning to be much more patient and neater than my usual bent. I also love photography, especially gardens and I'm using some of my photography for inspiration for art type quilting. Which I am also enjoying.

I look forward to learning from this board and have already seen lots of things to inspire me here. I can't wait to retire so I can do more quilting
