Cotton is made from the fibers of a cotton boll. Soy is made from some part of the soy bean plant.

I've never seen soy batting so I don't know the difference. I did want to say welcome and hello from SW Iowa. Glad to have you here.

I don't know how "green" this truly is, according to this article they use polymers to process it LOL but here an article explaining about soy batting/fabric :D:D:D

they say soy is good for hot flashes, so maybe I should make a change of life quilt with soy batting!!
