Two Ingredient Fudge

1 (10 to 12 oz.) bag of baking chips
1 can of cake frosting (not whipped)
Pinch of salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. or so of extract of your choice (optional)
Add-ins like nuts, crushed candy, cookies, dried fruit (optional)

Microwave the chips and frosting in the microwave until smooth. Microwave 60 seconds and then continue, checking and stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. It will probably take a couple of minutes depending on your microwave. When smooth, add salt and extract then stir in any of the optionals. Refrigerate 15-30 minutes to set. Score fudge before it gets too firm.

I used peanut butter/chocolate chips with fudge frosting. A favorite is coconut pecan frosting with chocolate chips.

Just think of the combinations. Also try spreading half into two different pans, letting it set and then spreading a different kind on top for double deckers. Freeze ahead and have ready for any occasion.

Mix & Match

Chips - Frosting - Add-in Ingredient

Chocolate Coconut Pecan Nuts (Pecans, Walnuts, Almond Slivers, Macadamia)
Mint Chocolate Chocolate Crushed Hard Candy (Peppermints, etc.)
Peanut Butter/Chocolate White Marshmallows , peanuts
White Strawberry Strawberry Candies (M&M's, chopped candy bars, etc.)
Chocolate/Semi-Sweet Vanilla Cookie pieces (like Oreos)

This recipe was new to me, but is all over the web. I've tried it several times and it is very easy, quick and good.

ever hear of the mug cake??

5 minute chocolate mug cake

4 tablespoon flour
4 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoon milk
3 tablespoon oil\
3 tablespoon chocolate chips
small splash of vanilla
1 large coffee mug(MicroSafe)

Add dry ingredients to mug, mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil , mix well. Add chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. the cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool, tip onto a plate if desired.

EAT! this can serve 2, if you want to feel slightly virtuous

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world??
Because now we are only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!
