It is so close to Christmas that I know many of you spent time this weekend sewing. This is what my son and I were working on. They are small wall hangings. It is a Cindi Edgerton paper pieced pattern that was published many years ago in McCalls if I remember correctly. We are sending to a friend in Germany in the military to brighten up their room.

very cute
I just surfed and found more of her patterns how awesome http://averyspecialcollection.com/sh...bits/page1.htm |
These are beautiful. I think I might need to learn how to paper piece.

Easy as pie. My son's comment was: "Do you have to use a new piece of paper every time?" I just had to chuckle but welcomed his comments and help as this was for his friend. His favorite part was heat setting the crystals for lights on the trees.

Very pretty trees - great decorations on them!
Just love Cindi's patterns! |
Very pretty wallhangings!! I love that you and DS worked on them together :D:D:D

I'm sure your friend's room will be cheery and bright with this touch from home.

No this is not the one. Although these are very pretty. The one I saw was done in all green fabrics and the teardrop leaves were glued down and then she used some glue on the edges to keep them down. I don't think there was any quilting on it. Thanks for checking.
