http://www.quiltracks.com/quilt-rack...lquiltrack.cfm Thought this was cool. Think I want one. Running out of floor space for quilt racks!

That's really neat. I have more floor space than I do wall space though. Let us see if loaded when you get it, okay?

The solution to your problem is to give away all your quilts. That has worked for me. I don't have a single quilt at home that I made.

A friend of mine that has her home decorated in country primitive has a very old ladder that's been cut down to about 8' that she uses to display her old quilts.

I use an old ladder that was my grandfather's. It's got 9 rungs and holds quite a few quilts; I also have a bunk bed ladder (found it on my neighbor's trash heap) that holds small quilts and table runners. I like the idea of a metal rack that hangs-thanks for posting this.
(Just remember when using a wooden item cover the rungs so your fabric isn't in direct contact with wood; this shouldn't be a problem with the metal one.)

I think I would put something between the metal and my quilt, too. Especially if it was going to be there for "a long time"

It doesn't look like it holds very large quilts. If it does, can you imagine the wieght? I have a rod iron quilt rack that sits on the floor and it was leaving marks in my quilts, as the iron rod was quite thin. I took towels and wrapped the rods and rehung the quilts. I don't put large quilts on it as they won't fit with the padding on the rods. Have to admit, it is a beautiful rack and I'm still glad that I purchased it, it just got a different set of quilts.
