I've wanted to try a obw for a while now...I've spent a lot of time looking at different fabric choices people have made and searching for a fabric for my own. After much time spent searching...I think I've found it - I am in love with this fabric! But before I buy, I just wanted to get a few opinions...
http://cgi.ebay.ca/BTY-PINK-GOLD-BLA...item53e508066b That link takes you to the fabric...will it work? I was thinking to get 6 yards...enough? Not enough? Too much? Thanks everyone! |
Woo! I think that would turn out GREAT! Does the listing show how often the repeat is? I've heard you need 6 repeats for it to "work".

Yes, you need six repeats (best if about 18 inches apart). Having a little extra won't hurt. Some people make sure they have some of the original fabric left over to incorporate into their quilt.
