Has anyone used these gloves while hand sewing? I saw them at joann's, they are green in color, say they help since they keep your hands warm and are a snug fit. I can see how they may help but since they are a little costly (much rather spend my money on fabric) I thought I would get your opinions before I purchase. Of course I have a fifty percent off coupon if I decide to buy them. Reason I want them is because sometimes while hand sewing my wrists and hands cramp, thought maybe these might help. Opinions wanted....

I haven't tried them but I have noticed that when I do really small hand work, my hands start cramping so I wonder if they would help with that??

I have those exact gloves. They seem to help a little bit but it wasn't enough for me to continue wearing them. Maybe someone else would have better luck.

Do not know how effective they would be for you. It may be worth a try.
I have two different types of compression fingerless gloves that I alternate wearing. I also use a stiff wristlet from time to time. Some people wear the hand, wrist, arm device to keep the dominant hand from moving at night. This is severe and now most have had the surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. |
I don't know why but i cannot use gloves of any kind while i sew. Maybe i haven't found the right ones yet.

I have problems with pain when I quilt. I have those gloves. I don't use them much in the summer but you can't beat them in the winter. They keep your hands warm and seem to help with circulation. I recommend them. Handquilting for 10+ years have worn the gloves for at least six if not more.

I use those same gloves lime green color oh boy are they bright but they help my hands tremendously they keep my hands limber and help the pain of arthritis

I use something that sounds very similar - I find them a great comfort as I have very poor circulation so they help keep my fingers warm and less achey

Thank you all for your opinions, I think I will give them a try. Happy holidays to all my quilting friends.
