Made this for my DGD with feature fabrics related to her interests and activities...she's 11. Once she opened it completely and looked at each block she looked up and said "this is me in this quilt...this is all about me!" She loved it and I forgot to take a pic of her with it!!

I put the label inside a little pocket so it blends into the backing better. I just handsewed it on but wish I had planned better and machine sewed it. There's a little pocket behind the label...11-year old girls love secret pockets!

Wow....I promise you the yellow is not THAT bright! More of a soft yellow.
